A standard air conditioning service takes approximately 45-60 minutes to complete. This includes an initial operation check, recovery and measurement of the current refrigerant, vacuum testing for leaks, followed by oil & refrigerant gas recharging. The system performance is then checked again to ensure satisfactory operation.
During the service, the air conditioning systems refrigerant and lubricating oil are recovered and recycled. The refrigerant is then recharged to the correct amount along with the appropriate amount of oil.
Depending on the vehicle specification, the interior cabin air filter will be inspected and/or replaced.
